Welcome to Division of Tangub City

Tangub City is one of the three capital cities of
the province of Misamis Occidental. It is bounded by the Malindang
Mountains on the north, Panguil Bay on the south, Ozamiz City on the
east and the municipality of Bonifacio on the west.

It was first created as an Interim Division on June 10, 2003. On
February 2008, through an order duly signed by the Secretary of
Education, the Interim Division of Tangub City became a full-fledged
Division in Region X.

September of this year, the headship of the division is turned over
to Dr. Victoria V. Gazo as Dr. Carmencita S. Cotapte retired from public
service.
