Tangub City, the Christmas Symbols Capital of the Philippines, is one of the three capital cities in the province of Misamis Occidental. It is bounded by Malindang Mountains on the north, Panguil Bay on the south, Ozamiz City on the east and the municipality of Bonifacio on the west.
The Department of Education (DepEd), Division of Tangub City was first created as an Interim Division in June 2003. On February 2008, through an order duly signed by the Secretary of Education Jesli A. Lapus, the Interim Division of Tangub City became a full-fledged Division in Region 10.
The Division is committed to carry out the vision and mission of DepEd with excellence, integrity and compassion. The heart of the division are our 19,192 learners catered in our 71 elementary and secondary public and private schools.
This website aims to provide news and information about DepEd Tangub City, access to teaching and learning resources and link to our partner DepEd Offices.
We aim to continuously improve our services and strengthen engagement with our partners particularly in the delivery of basic education. We will be delighted to receive feedback from our colleagues and partners who identify themselves and who avoid using fictitious name, poser accounts. Thus, an interactive chat box is available in our website to support collaboration, efficiency and transparency.
